Living in the World: More
Our desire is infinite. We always want more.
The world is finite. It will never satisfy our continual desire for more.
Our desire is intended to lead us to the infinite, to God.
Eden: Inside and Out
We are created at a level where we can participate with God in our continuing creation.
Living in the World: The Purpose of Life
Here is one way to state the purpose of life: to seek and allow God’s continuing creation in our lives and through us, in the world.
God’s continuing creation in our hearts produces love for God, for others and for ourselves.
God’s continuing creation through our lives in the world produces justice, peace, and health (Shalom).
Means of Grace and the Pace of Blessing
The world is filled with tools that God will use for continuing creation in our lives and in our world. We can seek out these tools, put them in our lives, and allow God access to them in our lives for continuing creation.
The Infinite Details
What do we do on a daily basis?
Giving the Holy Spirit access to our lives through prayer, reading scripture, and gathering with other believers are among the most useful tools God uses in our lives.
God, infinitely creative, fills the world with tools for continuing creation.
What are they?
How do we put them in our lives?
How do we seek and allow God’s continuing creation in our lives and our world?
